When creative agencies work together

Brighton is renowned as a hub of digital marketing innovators, packed full of talented individuals and agencies who are helping to shape the future of our industry. Working together we are all helping to raise the profile of Brighton as the go-to destination for anyone looking for a point of creative difference. This is why we were absolutely delighted when our friends at Propellernet asked us to help them re-define their online presence.

Propellernet are not only our neighbours and friends, they are also one of the most highly regarded agencies in Brighton; specializing in SEO, PR, Strategy and Insight. What do they do? Simple – they help their clients “Be Found” online. With all their time spent helping their clients, their own online presence had been a little forgotten and hit a point whereby the team decided that it no longer accurately represented them.

Over the course of 3 months we worked closely with the team at Propellernet to re-shape the user experience. Their proven track record of delivering great results for their clients was blended with their unique and inspiring brand personality to shape the new solution.

Naturally, when two creative agencies come together; creative fun ensues. A cross pollination of ideas led us to develop their unique homepage interactive banner, designed to be a metaphor for today’s busy web – and the clarity that working with Propellernet can bring.

Off the back of this project, we have subsequently worked together on a few other client facing projects, fusing our respective unique skills to deliver a little bit of surprise and delight. Perhaps the most notable to date was our shared work for nPower in helping to raise awareness for carbon monoxide week.

Personally, I love the open source (yes I used to be a developer, so perhaps not the right word, but you get my meaning) nature of working with other agencies, rather than competing against them. If you put the project … and the creative first … each and every time, then great collaborations will happen and great experiences created.
