How can we spark interest in a new IT tool without sending people to sleep?

Don't demonstrate the software, instead focus on the benefits to the user. Highlight how the IT tools will positively re-shape their productivity, convenience and morale.

Background

The Barclays Collaboration Services Delivery team set about implementing Office 365 across Barclays to help streamline working practices. Frustrated by the status Quo of the current tools at their disposal, the introduction of this software was intended to change this, highlighting that Barclays was listening to their needs and concerns.

They approached Tilt to help deliver this message across the business, generating awareness and adoption of the new platform once launched.

Our Approach

Communicate the vision of how MS 365 will benefit colleagues in their working day – whether in the office or working remotely these new tools will better equip them to do their jobs more efficiently.

The aim was not to demonstrate the software, but more the changes in the way users would be able to work and what this would mean for their productivity, convenience and morale.

Ultimately, we wanted them to feel positive and encouraged by this new initiative.
