Introduction
Our company is committed to promoting responsible business practices among our suppliers. We believe that our suppliers should share our values of social and environmental responsibility, and we expect them to adhere to high ethical standards. This Supplier Code of Conduct (CoC) outlines the minimum standards and expectations that we require from our suppliers. This policy launched in 2025 when it was made a requirement for all new suppliers going forward alongside a time-scaled plan to consult with our existing suppliers and evolve our policy. Many of our long term suppliers have existing, published high standards in ESG.
Our aim is to promote and ensure that our suppliers have good social and environmental performance, and to avoid brand damage to our company that could occur as a result of exposure of an environmental or human rights violation whilst in a suppliers employ.
Labor Standards and Practice
We expect our suppliers to adhere to the following labour standards and practices:
- Freely chosen employment: Suppliers must ensure that all workers are employed voluntarily, without the use of forced, bonded or indentured labour.
- Working hours: Suppliers must comply with applicable laws and industry standards regarding working hours. Workers should not be required to work more than the maximum number of hours allowed under local laws or regulations.
- Compensation: Suppliers must pay workers at least the minimum wage required by local laws and regulations, and provide all legally mandated benefits.
- Child labour: Suppliers must not employ workers below the minimum age of employment required by local laws or regulations.
- Non-discrimination: Suppliers must not discriminate against any worker on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other factor that is irrelevant to the job.
- Health and safety: Suppliers must provide workers with a safe and healthy work environment, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
