We are delighted to launch Bungaroosh, a project that takes a closer look at the misfits, upstarts, rebels and square pegs that inhabit Brighton and Sussex. Our ambition is for this site to be a platform for filmmakers to share their stories, providing viewers with a rich tapestry of tales about the unique personalities that inhabit our fair city.

Some cities are built on bricks and mortar.

Not Brighton.

Our walls are held together by a rough cocktail of flint, pebble, wood, sand, glass – anything an 18th Century builder could get their hands on.

This is bungaroosh.

The fabric that holds up a city of misfits, upstarts, rebels and square pegs. A loose jumble of characters with tales to tell.
