Break the grid. Make use of the entire canvas on your screen. This website pulls the user’s attention in so much more, and we love that.

What do we like?
A story set in the hometown of our resident Austrian, Dave Weiss. This website beautifully displays the tone and landscape of this region.

Why do we like it?
We love the use of SVG flourishes, and typography.

What one thing could you learn and apply to your projects?
Simplicity. The use of strong imagery capturers the user and helps to reduce the need for long blocks of text.

What do we like?
Fluid movement and a strong illustration style.

Why do we like it?
The use of HTML 5’s canvas produces a great optimised experience.

What one thing could you learn and apply to your projects?
In a sea of corporate New Years wishes, this alternative concept helps to set their message apart. A nice idea goes a long way.

What do we like?
Many discussions have gone into this website, as to whether it is the content or the design that makes this so good. We think they work together in unison.

Why do we like it?
It’s a great example of a WordPress backend.

What one thing could you learn and apply to your projects?
Deep brand awareness leads to a strong art direction. This is clear in the imagery and content on this website.

Why do we like it?
A great use of modern web technologies.

What one thing could you learn and apply to your projects?
