Fun ecosystem games for PBS

We developed a series of advanced HTML5 games for Earth A New Wild, a new series currently airing on American television network PBS. Produced by National Geographic and Passion Planet, the series takes a fresh look at humankind's relationship to the planet's wildest places and most fascinating species.

Tilt have created a new microsite which is inspired by content from the series. The Ecosystem Explorer is a collection of videos, games, and infographics designed to take students deep into the ecosystems of three thrilling animals: vultures, wolves, and sharks.

Related videos introduce each ecosystem and explore the relationship between animals and humans which is often more complicated than we realize. The microsite has been developed to encourage students to discover more about the ecology and conservation of these three worlds by exploring games, videos and infographics.

Built using Create JS, Tilt showcased their advanced knowledge of HTML5 to take the project beyond the Flash requirements of the brief to an exciting new level. Tilt also developed dynamic illustrations for the games which were enhanced by suitably graphic sound effects!
