Don’t mind us if we’re grinning inanely today. We’re on a winning streak at the moment, so we’re feeling rather chuffed.
You might remember us banging on about scooping three golds at the Digital Impact Awards, and the Grand Prix award for the second year running, for our work with Vodafone, a couple of weeks back.
Last night, we won ‘Best Educational Film Award (universities and colleges)’ for our series of films, Intimate, not intimidated: It’s time to talk about sex and disability, for The Open University at the Learning on Screen Awards 2020.
The judges praised our entry “for its bravery and usefulness”.
The team thoroughly enjoyed working on this project; it was a privilege to give people with life-limiting illnesses a platform to discuss their sex lives. It’s a vital piece of work that we’re really proud of.
You can read all about it, and watch the films here.
Once again, our company-wide Slack channel was in full flow during last night’s awards, and the Friday beer Zoom call is set to be a lively one later. When that fine day arrives, when it’s safe for us to celebrate altogether in person, you bet there’s going to be a party!
