We're on the hunt for a sharp, up-and-coming, curious Designer who loves to sweat the small stuff.
Someone who is obsessed with design, and quality, no matter what they're putting their hand to, whether that's a creative campaign, a digital experience or a deck slide nobody will remember by Friday.
Someone with a good eye, who knows what good looks like, and just as importantly, what doesn't.
Someone who loves design in all its forms, and is in the business of creating visuals that make people stop and take notice. You'll be happy working on the flashy work as well as the unglamorous stuff, and consider them all deserving of the same treatment in your eyes.
You don't need much hand holding, you take ownership of your work and run with it, and you're always looking for ways to get better at your craft. You're not short of ambition, or opinions about how things should look. Moving something two pixels to the left is, in your eyes, a perfectly reasonable request that thou shalt defend.
--------------------
The role
You'll work alongside our designers and wider creative team across a proper mixed bag of projects, clients and formats - think campaigns, digital experiences, presentations, content and everything in between.
You’ll be just as involved in the thinking as the doing, developing concepts visually, shaping ideas and building out visual directions, not just executing what’s already been decided.
Making things pretty is only half the job. The other half is making sure whatever you're designing actually does what it's meant to for the people using it. This role is about doing both: designing things that actually work and making damn sure they look good too.
We're a small team, so you won't be quietly filed away in a corner somewhere. You'll be properly in the thick of it, elbow-deep, occasionally covered in metaphorical mud, sometimes literally (our People & Culture Manager, Mel gets us outside a lot).
--------------------
Design chops
You've got a solid grounding in the fundamentals: typography, layout, composition, hierarchy, accessibility and are super-human when it comes to attention to detail.
You know when something's not quite there yet, even before you can say why, and you won't let it leave your sight until it is. Give you constraints and you'll push right up against them, give you a blank page and that won't scare you either.
Above all, you're relentlessly curious. You keep up with the latest design trends, seek out good work, learn what you can, and are continuously looking to improve your skills.
You’re also curious about AI. You might already be using it, and you've got thoughts on where design's headed because of it. You’d rather be first to try the new thing than last to admit you should have.
--------------------
You:
- Leave your ego at the door, everything is done and said in the pursuit of greatness.
- Communicate well and take on and action feedback.
- Get stuck into whatever the project needs, glamorous or not. No task is beneath you.
- Ask questions, share work in progress, and soak up the skills and expertise of those around you.
- Are genuinely into digital design, brands, AI and whatever's coming next.
- Willing to have a go. You'd rather attempt something and be wrong than wait to be told exactly how to do it.
- Care about the end result whether it's the big idea or the smallest, most hair-splitting detail, and your attention doesn't clock off after the fifth version.
- Have a genuine appetite to experiment, develop and actually get better.
- Got a decent sense of humour and zero pretence. We take the work seriously, not ourselves.
--------------------
What we're looking for:
- A portfolio that shows good visual instincts and potential. Show your working, not just your best bits.
- Confidence in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, bonus points for a party trick or two.
- Some experience turning ideas into finished design, whether that’s through client work or your own projects.
--------------------
What you'll get:
- A salary between £30,000 to £40,000 depending upon experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Personal development budgets and learning lunches.
- F45 gym membership and monthly wellbeing therapist.
- Pension and corporate healthcare schemes.
- Enhanced maternity / paternity leave
- Charity fundraising donation matching.
- Access to annual IFA review.
- Cycle to work and tech schemes.
If you've read this far and thought 'that's basically me,' we want to hear from you. Apply here.
Closing date for applications: 31st October 2026.
